PCB International ships via United Parcel Service (UPS) and Fedex for all United States based customers. UPS maintains the best on-shipping record in the industry and we believe it is worth the cost premium. To make sure our customers always enjoy the best pricing, we pay a sizable portion of the true shipping cost. For our international customers, we use a mixture of shipping couriers i.e. UPS, DHL, and Fedex (dependant on your location). You may elect to use your own shipping account. Additional notes:
The holidays listed below will not count towards lead time.
Per general standards of the circuit board industry, lead time is defined as the number of days between when your order is placed up until the time your order is shipped. The day an order is processed and confirmed to customer is counted as Day 0. PCB International has a 5:00 pm PT cutoff time for all orders. Orders placed prior to 5:00 pm PT (on standard business days) will be started on the day the order was placed (Day 0). Orders placed after the cutoff time will be started the following business day. Weekends and holidays are not counted as build days. Estimated Ship and dock dates are assuming no engineering delays due to incomplete or unclear data or delays in transit beyond our control.
Lead Time Calculation Example:
An order with a two day build-time submitted on Monday after 5 PM PT
Day 1: Tuesday 4 PM through Wednesday 5 PM.
Day 2: Wednesday 4 PM through Thursday 5 PM.
Your order will ship Thursday afternoon.
