Flex Circuit

Flex PCBs, also known as flexible printed circuits or flexible electronics, provide greater options for designers and engineers when assembling electronic circuits.

They are constructed from flexible, high-performance plastic material, usually polyimide, which enables the board to bend or "flex" during use. This flexibility opens them up to use in a wide range of applications.

Please combine the following files into a single ZIP file and contact us for a quick and non-obligatory quotation.

1. PCB Design File. Please include all Gerbers (at minimum we require copper layer(s), solder paste layers, and silkscreen layers).
2. Pick and Place (Centroid). Information should include component location, rotations, and reference designators.
3. Bill Of Materials (BOM). Information provided must be in machine readable format (Excel or CVS). Your BOM should include:

  • Quantity of each part
  • Reference designator
  • Vendor and/or MFG Part Number (Digi-Key, Mouser, etc.)
  • Part description
  • Package description (QFN32, SOIC, 0805, etc. package is very helpful but not required).
  • Type (SMT, Thru-Hole, Fine-pitch, BGA, etc.).

PCB Stencil Service

  • We manufacture a wide variety of stencils that can fit nearly any stencil printer or application.
  • Order before noon MST, and most orders can ship same day!
  • We only use high grade stainless steel.
  • Stencils are cut using a gas assisted Fiber Laser, ensuring the finest quality aperture wall and finish from a laser cut process.
  • Proprietary Permafid® process creates permanent, non-removable, and non-fading fiducials.
  • An experienced stencil engineer analyzes each order and tailors the stencil for best performance.
  • All fixed frame stencils are double bonded to allow for maximum reusability.
  • Plates are available with Skin Guard® safety features to protect against accidental cuts due to sharp edges.

Flexd Frame Stencil

This process uses an exclusive permanent border bonding treatment that when combined with our epoxy process, creates a bond that won't fail.

We stock all standard rigid sizes, we can even manufacture custom sizes if the need arises. Frames can be cast aluminum (solid frame) or extruded (hollow frame).

ProFrame®II

The ProFrame®II is a reusable frame that can quickly swap out new foils. This system greatly reduces stencil costs. Rather than ordering frames on every stencil, order a ProFrame®II and all your future stencils can be frameless. This cuts down on stencil and shipping costs, plus it's a lot easier to store foils than bulky framed stencils.

Just like our standard fixed frame stencils, ProFrame®II gives you superior registration, precise, reliable on or off contact printing, longer stencil life, consistent repeatability, and improved yields.

QTS Wizard 20x20 Frame System

The Wizard Frame System consists of two frames and a stencil. The first frame is a plastic Container Frame which protects against injuries during handling of the stencil's sharp edges. The stencil is firmly held in the molded plastic Contain Frame (available in green for lead free).

The second frame, The Wizard, is a durable, lightweight aluminum stretch frame, designed to mate with the plastic Container Frame. The Wizard frame pneumatically tensions equally on all four sides.

Desktop Stencil

Great for small run prototypes, no stencil printer needed. Easy and simple to use for quality results. Desktop stencils can be up to 10" x 12". An Oversize Desktop stencil can be manufactured for larger sizes.

  1. Simply tape the supplied plastic mounting bracket to a flat table surface.
  2. Place your PCB inside the "L" shaped bracket.
  3. Tape the opposing edge bracket to the table to ensure the board does not shift.
  4. Align the stencil over your board.
  5. Tape the stencil's top edge to the bracket.
  6. Now you are ready to use the supplied squeegee to spread the solder paste of your choice onto your board.

Foil Only Stencil

If you have one of our ProFrame®II frames or another type of reusable universal frame like SMT, QTS, or SPR, we can cut the stencil to any size required without attaching it to a frame. This is a great way to reduce stencil costs.
